‘Several victims’ in shooting near rave in northern Switzerland

On Sunday, a tragic shooting at a rave party in Aarau, northern Switzerland, left one person dead and five others injured, with some of them suffering serious wounds, according to local police. The search for the perpetrators, whose identities remain unknown, is ongoing, with police describing it as a "large-scale response." The incident occurred before 3:00 am on the sidelines of the Aarauer Rave, which was attended by approximately 3,500 people between 3:00 pm on Saturday and 2:00 am on Sunday.

Many attendees initially mistook the gunfire for fireworks and sought refuge in a nearby gymnasium.
