Robinson strikes as England close in on series win over Pakistan

Ollie Robinson continued to trouble Pakistan on the fourth day as England sought a series-clinching victory at Lord's, despite Saud Shakeel's resilient 78 not out. Pakistan required a substantial 249 runs to achieve a remarkable victory target of 389. Robinson's bowling figures stood at 4-24 in 14 overs, following his impressive 4-11 in the first innings during Pakistan's total of 110 all out.

The Sussex seamer struck twice in four balls to reduce Pakistan to 7-2, before Jofra Archer dismissed Babar Azam, bringing England closer to a 2-0 series lead. Shakeel and Shan Masood managed to stave off England's advances, leaving England working hard to secure a notable series win. However, Robinson's persistence led to Masood's dismissal for 26 off 72 balls after a review reversed an initial 'not out' decision by umpire Allahuddien Paleker.

Mohammad Rizwan followed suit, bowled for 26 off 72 balls when he tried to play across the line. Pakistan's batting lineup struggled to counter Robinson's onslaught, with Abdullah Shafique dismissed for a duck by a brilliant delivery from Archer, which fooled Shafique into hitting the stumps.
