MP BJP Begins 2-Day Orchha Meet; Gen Z Outreach, 2028 Poll Strategy In Focus | VIDEO

Madhya Pradesh's Bharatiya Janata Party inaugurated a two-day state executive meeting in the historic town of Orchha on Sunday. The primary focus of the gathering, sources say, is to devise strategies for the 2028 Assembly elections and to expand outreach efforts to the younger generation, particularly Gen Z. Recent youth protests in Delhi and parts of Madhya Pradesh have prompted the ruling party to seek a dialogue with young people, understand their priorities, and address their concerns.

The meeting will also deliberate on strengthening the party's organization at the booth level in every Assembly constituency, conducting training programs, and planning upcoming campaigns and political strategy.

The meeting will feature around 300 delegates, including state BJP president Hemant Khandelwal, Union ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Jyotiraditya Scindia, and several senior leaders and members of the state executive committee. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, speaking at the event, emphasized the party's commitment to engaging with all sectors, including the youth, farmers, women, and the poor.

The 137th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's monthly radio program, 'Mann Ki Baat,' was broadcast before the meeting began, with Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia highlighting the Prime Minister's vision for a 'Viksit Bharat' 2047. The meeting will also cover Gen Z-oriented schemes and issues, as well as themes such as 'Samarasta Ka Sankalp' (pledge for social harmony) and 'Viksit Bharat 2047'. The state executive meeting is expected to play a crucial role in shaping the party's future direction and action plan.
