50-Year-Old Patient Dies After Getting Trapped In Lift At MP’s Rewa Hospital | DISTURBING VIDEO

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh - A 50-year-old man, Suresh Sen, died after becoming trapped inside a lift at a private hospital in Rewa on Saturday evening. The incident was captured on video, showing the man inside the lift while his family members cried for help. It was reported that they had been waiting for around 10-15 minutes before realizing the man was trapped.

The deceased, who resided in Lalpur village, had been admitted to the hospital after breaking his shoulder bone a few days prior. Upon arrival, the hospital employee placed Suresh on a stretcher inside the lift to transport him to an upper floor. When family members attempted to join him, the employee allegedly barred their entry, insisting they use the stairs.

Suresh was found trapped in the lift, with part of his body wedged inside, when his family reached the upper floor. Relatives alleged that hospital staff were no longer present in the lift when they arrived. Additionally, another woman had reportedly been trapped in the lift around 20 minutes earlier, but no action was taken to prevent this incident.

The family demanded the hospital's closure and accused hospital management of negligence. Police are investigating the cause of the lift's malfunction and are collecting evidence.
