Kurnool hospital performs liver, kidney transplants

Gowri Gopal Hospital in Kurnool city has recently achieved a significant milestone by successfully conducting liver and kidney transplant surgeries. The hospital management revealed that these complex operations were carried out in collaboration with TX Hospitals and Jeevandan Andhra Pradesh. On August 30, 2026, a 67-year-old patient underwent a liver transplant, while a 26-year-old patient received a kidney transplant.

The hospital emphasized that both surgeries were executed under the supervision of a highly skilled medical team utilizing advanced medical facilities. Following the successful procedures, both patients are reported to be in stable condition and receiving appropriate medical care.
