How did Rashford do on return to Man Utd XI? Player ratings
How Manchester United and Ipswich Town's players rated following their Premier League match.
Marcus Rashford made his first league start for Manchester United since December 2024 in their match against Ipswich. He demonstrated solid performance, often having the ball and pushing forward to test the visitors' defense. Rashford nearly created a goal for Kobbie Mainoo by delivering a cross that was deflected. Despite these efforts, United's midfield faced challenges in containing Ipswich's attacking runs.
Bruno Fernandes, the captain, was the standout performer with a hat-trick, including a crucial penalty. His equalizer and calm third-minute goal showcased his exceptional skill and composure. Enciso posed a constant threat, but Fernandes maintained control and composure throughout the match.
