General : Raja Muda Of Perlis Proposes Three Main Thrusts To Guide MARA's Future

Kangar, Malaysia - The Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, has outlined three key strategies to guide the future direction of Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara). The first thrust emphasizes the need for Mara personnel to embrace new technologies, specifically artificial intelligence (AI), to boost efficiency, creativity, and problem-solving skills. The Raja Muda stressed that Mara should not just adapt to change but should lead the way in shaping the future.

The second thrust focuses on strengthening Mara's entrepreneurship agenda by cultivating innovative and resilient entrepreneurs who can successfully compete in international markets. The Raja Muda also called for the development of more local companies capable of making a global impact.

The third thrust emphasizes the importance of producing Mara personnel who are bold leaders, capable of making quick decisions, and thinking strategically. The Raja Muda asserted that future leaders should not merely follow change but should actively drive transformation.

The 11th edition of the Sukan MARA Se-Malaysia (Sukmas) biennial tournament was officiated by the Raja Muda. This event serves as a platform to unite Mara personnel, foster discipline, and promote sportsmanship. By bringing together Maras from different states, backgrounds, and roles, sports provide a common language that strengthens the bonds within the "Mara family".

The Sukmas event, which runs from September 1 to September 3, features 15 sporting events, including football, netball, volleyball, sepak takraw, and tennis. With 3,000 athletes and officials participating from 14 Mara teams across Malaysia, this event provides a valuable opportunity for Mara personnel to engage more closely with the community, particularly in Perlis.
