Former Kentucky QB Will Levis waived by the Tennessee Titans after 3 seasons

Tennessee Titans have waived former Kentucky quarterback Will Levis, reports indicate. Levis, a former UK football star, began his NFL journey in 2023 with the Titans, throwing four touchdowns in his debut game against the Atlanta Falcons. However, his career took a tumultuous turn following the firing of defensive end Mike Vrabel at the end of the 2023 season.

Brian Callahan, who had previously been the Bengals' offensive coordinator, was then named head coach but was eventually let go after two seasons. The Titans drafted Levis' successor, Cam Ward, with the top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. In 21 games, Levis compiled a 5-16 record as a starting quarterback, completing 61.0% of his passes for 3,899 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 16 interceptions.

His career averages include 7.0 yards per attempt and 221.9 fantasy points. Levis, who was selected 33rd overall by the Titans in the 2023 draft, had a 17-7 record as a starter during his two seasons at Kentucky. He was instrumental in leading the Wildcats to a 10-3 record and a Citrus Bowl victory over Iowa in 2021. However, Levis faced injuries during the 2022 season, which impacted Kentucky's 7-6 record.

As Levis seeks a new NFL opportunity, it is noted that he recently reconnected with former Kentucky teammate Wan'Dale Robinson, who signed with the Titans during the offseason.
