Farres Putra dies after Cub Prix crash, Kuala Terengganu police confirm multiple injuries

KUALA TERENGGANU, Aug 30 — The post-mortem examination has revealed that the fatal crash during the Malaysian Cub Prix Championship was the reason for the death of 18-year-old Farres Putra Mohd Fadhill from CKJ Racing. The Kuala Terengganu police chief, ACP Azli Mohd Noor, stated that the medical investigation was carried out at the Forensic Department of Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital from 10pm to 11:55pm yesterday.

Farres, a native of Selangor, was rushed to the hospital's Emergency Department following the accident and was declared dead by a medical officer, according to a statement released by the authorities. Meanwhile, a close friend of Farres, Adi Putra Anahar, recounted the events leading to the tragedy. Adi, who is 17, was watching the race live on his smartphone from a car parked in the Gong Badak Motorsport Circuit area.

Farres and Adi had been friends since they were 13 and shared a passion for motorsports, often spending time together several times a week. Adi expressed his shock at losing his long-time friend, emphasizing that they had been close since their teenage years.
