EPL: Paul Robinson slams Man United star over Chuba Akpom’s goal for Ipswich Town

Bruno Fernandes was instrumental in Manchester United's 5-2 victory over Ipswich Town, netting three goals and providing one assist in the Premier League match at Old Trafford. The match, held on Sunday evening, saw Ipswich open the scoring through Leif Davis just 29 minutes into the game, courtesy of a defensive mistake by Manchester United.

However, the tables were turned in the 40th minute when Fernandes converted a pass from Matheus Cunha, leveling the score at 1-1. The first half ended at that scoreline, with both teams going into halftime evenly matched.

In the second half, Harry Maguire fired a shot that deflected off Jacob Greaves into the back of the net in the 56th minute, giving United the lead. Bruno Fernandes then added a penalty in the 61st minute, making it 3-1. He completed his hat-trick in the 68th minute, cementing his team's dominance. Bryan Mbeumo extended Manchester United's lead to 4-1 with a goal in the 82nd minute, assisted by Fernandes.

Chuba Akpom managed to score a consolation goal for Ipswich in the 91st minute. With this result, Manchester United bounced back from their opening-round defeat and secured their first points of the season. Ipswich, however, remained on three points.
