Collector Sits Beside Tribal Child, Helps Him Wear Socks And Tie Shoelaces In MP’s Dindori

In Madhya Pradesh's Dindori district, Collector Anju Pawan Bhadauria and District Panchayat CEO Divyanshu Chaudhary took it upon themselves to assist Tribal hostel children with their footwear during a surprise visit to Gaura Kanhari hostel. The officials toured the boys' hostel, engaging with students from Class 1 to Class 8, and inquired about their well-being and everyday requirements.

This interaction was part of the administration's Soles for Souls initiative, which aims to provide shoes and essential items to children studying in schools, hostels, and ashrams.

During the visit, collector Bhadauria sat beside a young boy, gently placing socks on his feet and tying his shoelaces, while CEO Chaudhary helped another student with his footwear. Around 100 students were provided with shoes, socks, and water bottles in the initial phase of the initiative. The children, displaying great enthusiasm, recited poems and stories and recited multiplication tables for the officials, who reciprocated their excitement by distributing chocolates.

The officials, AC Tribal Rajendra Jatav and his team, were commended for their contribution to implementing the initiative. In other news, Bhopal has seen only 14 convictions in 3,187 dowry cases since 2021, with the majority ending in compromise.
