Amitabh Bachchan warns men against forgetting wedding date: ‘Shoes flying your way’

In a recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18, Amitabh Bachchan cautioned men against neglecting their wedding anniversary. He humorously warned them that if they forgot the day they got married, they could expect shoes, slippers, and rolling pins to be thrown their way. During the show, Bachchan emphasized that while wives often inquire about the marriage date, it is the most crucial one.

When a contestant asked if his wife Jaya Bachchan waits for him to return home for dinner, Amitabh admitted he does try to inform their family about his work schedule so they can plan meals accordingly. He added that if he didn't inform Jaya, she might scold him for not letting them know when he would be home. The actor also mentioned that when he arrives late at night, he often prepares the meal and cleans up himself.

Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan got married on June 3, 1973, before beginning their acting careers together. They have appeared in numerous films together, including Zanjeer, Abhimaan, Sholay, Mili, Silsila, and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
