2027: ‘I’ll deliver Osun for Tinubu’ – Adeleke insists

Osun State's Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has reaffirmed his backing for President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 general elections during a recent meeting with the All Progressives Congress' National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru. In the discussion, Adeleke assured Basiru that he is committed to delivering Osun State's votes to Tinubu, emphasizing that he does not make empty promises and that politics should be conducted with integrity.

Adeleke insisted that his pledge to support Tinubu is genuine, stating that he means it 100%. "I don't make empty promises. When I said we will deliver Osun State votes to our dear father, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I meant it 100%," he declared. This commitment, he explained, was influenced by the values instilled in him by his father, who was known as a diplomat and labor union politician. The governor urged fellow Osun State residents to set aside differences and unite in supporting Tinubu.
