2027: Forget differences, work for Tinubu, Adeleke urges Osun politicians

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has pledged his full support to President Bola Tinubu, assuring him that he will deliver the state's votes "100 per cent." Adeleke, who described Tinubu as his "dear father," emphasized that he does not make empty promises and that politics must be conducted with integrity. He cited his father's teachings on fulfilling commitments as a key influence, stating that politics should be guided by honesty and respect for pledged obligations.

During a meeting with the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Ajibola Basiru, Adeleke reiterated his commitment, calling for Osun residents and politicians to set aside their differences and unite for the state's development and the success of Tinubu's administration. The governor's past experience in political negotiations, including ensuring lawmakers from Osun supported preferred candidates for Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives, illustrates his track record of honoring political commitments.

Adeleke stressed that he does not engage in political games or make promises he cannot keep, emphasizing his fear of God as the driving force behind his integrity.
