2 S. Koreans tie for 14th at PGA Tour playoff finale

SEOUL - At the PGA Tour playoffs finale in Atlanta, Kim Si-woo and Tom Kim tied for 14th place. Both South Korean golfers shot a nine-under 271 at East Lake Golf Club in Georgia, finishing seven strokes behind the champion, world No. 1, Scottie Scheffler. Each player earned US$545,000 for their 14th place finish. The Tour Championship is limited to the top-30 players in FedEx Cup points following two playoff events.

Kim Si-woo, ranked fourth after the FedEx St. Jude Championship and BMW Championship, and Tom Kim, ranked 29th after the FedEx St. Jude Championship, both shot low scores in all four rounds. Tom Kim, 24, had his best round of the tournament with a three-under 68 in his final round, while Kim Si-woo, 31, shot a 65 in the third round and a 69 in the final round.

Kim Si-woo, who has had 11 top-10 finishes this year, is the leading scorer in both 60s and sub-par rounds on the tour. Tom Kim, who secured his first PGA Tour win in July, also ranks high in both categories. Both players are expected to be part of the International Team for the upcoming Presidents Cup.
