Woman prepared her brother's meals every day, until fire claimed him

In Malaysia's Kuala Nerus, 62-year-old Azizah Mohd prepared and delivered meals to her younger brother, Zakaria, every single day for over a year. On the fateful day, Azizah was preparing his favorite dish, ayam masak kicap (rice and soy sauce chicken), when her neighbor alerted her to a house fire in Kampung Lingai. Rushing to her brother's home, she discovered Zakaria had tragically perished, believed to have been trapped inside the burning house.

Azizah, who lived just 300 meters from her brother, spent around three hours with him each day, tending to his daily needs, bathing him, and even attending to his clothes. This routine was interrupted by the sudden tragedy on the afternoon of the incident. Every morning, Zakaria's 54-year-old youngest brother, Harun, would deliver breakfast to him before Harun headed off to work at a hardware and carpentry shop.

Harun remarked that Zakaria seemed to be his usual self when he delivered food to him the morning before the incident, eagerly awaiting Azizah's arrival. The siblings shared the responsibility of ensuring their brother's daily needs were met, as their home lacked basic amenities like electrical appliances and a television.

Although the cause of the fire remains unknown, the family is grappling with the sudden loss of their beloved brother. Despite the shock, they accept the incident as fate.
