He has held academic and leadership positions in Washington, Philadelphia, and Philadelphia's CHOP, with a focus on forensic psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. He earned his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College and completed psychiatric training at Harvard, Columbia, and New York University.
