During a recent podcast discussion, Carlson expressed his concern over the potential use of nuclear weapons in the conflict between the U.S. and Iran.

Claiming that discussions about employing tactical nuclear weapons have occurred at the Pentagon, Carlson asserted that Trump has repeatedly suggested the possibility of nuclear weaponry being used against Iran. He criticized the president for making alarming remarks, such as warning in April that "a whole civilization will die tonight" if Iran does not comply with U.S. demands.

Carlson argued that any leader who advocates for the first use of nuclear weapons should be immediately removed from office and called for such a removal.
