Tourist discovers vile message on restaurant receipt after ordering breakfast

Maria Clara was enjoying an orange juice and scrambled eggs at Victor Lab restaurant in Riccione, Italy, when she noticed the eggs were undercooked. She requested them to be cooked longer, but the response from the waiter was dismissive, telling her the restaurant didn't serve raw eggs. However, only later upon requesting the bill did she discover an offensive message on the receipt. The message, written in Italian, harshly criticized the customer, claiming they "pissed me off, burn her eggs and spit in them." The message confused Clara, who initially thought it might have been a prank between staff members. However, upon learning the student waiter wrote it, her concern escalated.

The family confronted the restaurant, and the manager became involved. The waiter, nervous, attempted to discard the receipt before it was saved as evidence. The restaurant and its owner, Luciano Colono, apologized and offered to cancel the bill, but Clara declined the replacement food. The restaurant later made light of the incident on TikTok, sparking further debate.
