David Moyes, the Everton manager, expressed his belief that supporters are not always wrong, particularly in the context of their vocal opposition to the potential sale of teenage midfielder Harrison Armstrong. The 19-year-old England Under-19 international has been highly praised by many, with Everton supporters chanting for his retention after a 1-1 draw at Bournemouth.

Nottingham Forest had reportedly made a £40m bid for Armstrong, who has made 24 appearances for Everton. Moyes highlighted the importance of considering fans' opinions, while acknowledging that sometimes managers must make difficult decisions, even if they are unpopular. He cited examples of other managers who faced similar situations, such as Bryan Gray at Preston North End and Sir Philip Carter at Everton.
