See standout players in Greater Cincinnati high school football Week 2

During the second week of Greater Cincinnati high school football, several standout performers shined. Kaden Estep from Elder led the pack with an impressive performance, completing 24 of his 30 passes for 357 yards and 2 touchdowns, while also contributing 106 rushing yards and a second touchdown. Andrew Lyman, also from Elder, opened the Panthers' scoring with a 75-yard touchdown reception, followed by two more catches for 123 yards and two touchdowns.

Covington Catholic's Jason Fedor made a significant impact as a senior receiver, crossing the goal line for a 74-yard touchdown, tallying three catches for 146 yards and a score in a loss. Nate Pabst from Beechwood set the tone for the Tigers' dominant 42-0 victory over Beechwood, returning the opening kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown and adding 23 and 14 yard rushing scores.

Mason's Alex Nagel displayed his all-around skills, rushing for 189 yards and four touchdowns in Mason's 43-24 win against Sycamore in the GMC rivalry. Winton Woods' JJ Shelton opened Winton Woods' 35-0 win against Kings with a 99-yard kickoff return touchdown, while Zachary Branam from Sycamore completed 26 of his 35 passes for 346 yards and four touchdowns in Sycamore's 43-24 loss to Mason.

Princeton's Gianni Simpson had a big game with two interceptions in Princeton's 27-7 win over Middletown in the GMC opener. Lebanon's Logan Schmenk rushed for 238 yards and two touchdowns in the Warriors' 42-7 victory over Loveland. Harrison's Brady Lawhon was accurate in the air, completing 13-of-18 passes for 220 yards and two touchdowns, and also contributed 92 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Lakota West's Kenyon Norman ran for 262 yards and four touchdowns, including scores from 72 and 75 yards out, in Lakota West's 48-18 win over Lakota East. Ohio University commit Roman Combs had a crucial play as Lakota West defeated Lakota East 48-18, intercepting a pass and returning it 38 yards for a score, as well as forcing and recovering a fumble that he returned for a touchdown.

Deer Park's Morgan Brown led the way in a Thursday game, scoring three times to guide Deer Park to a 50-8 victory over Shroder, with a 48-yard rushing touchdown and two interceptions returned for touchdowns. Milford's Aiden Wehrum, making his first career start, completed 17 of his 22 passes for 340 yards and six touchdowns, and added 34 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

St. Xavier's Aidan Newdigate was efficient in the passing game, going 6-for-9 for 148 yards and two touchdowns against Wayne, and also made an impact on the ground with 128 rushing yards and three scores.
