President Mahama gives scrolls of office to Mahama Ayariga and Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings

Kremlin officials have ordered Russian military forces to seize control of the Donbas region by December 31, according to Deputy Head of the President's Office Pavlo Palisa. Palisa made this statement during a meeting with journalists, where he discussed the ongoing issue of Donbas in political negotiations. He emphasized that reaching the administrative borders of Luhansk and Donetsk regions by December 31 is the primary goal set by Russia's political leadership.

However, Palisa cautioned that Russia's military leadership believes achieving this objective by the given deadline is unrealistic and has even suggested postponing the deadline until March 31. Palisa expressed his own view that even by March 31, the task remains highly unlikely to be successfully accomplished.
