Marco Bezzecchi doubts he lost Aragon MotoGP sprint at the start

Motorsport photo Aprilia's Marco Bezzecchi expressed uncertainty over whether he would have won the Aragon Grand Prix sprint had he maintained his lead at the start. He acknowledged that the Marquez brothers outpaced him, stating, "The lead could have helped. I don't know if it's the only reason, because I finished third." Bezzecchi's poor performance was further hindered by an injured left knee.

He also struggled to defend his position against the Marquez brothers, as Alex Marquez took advantage of the situation by executing a tighter line into the left-hander. Despite running the faster soft rear tyre, Bezzecchi was unable to challenge the quicker Ducatis. However, he expressed satisfaction with his performance, noting that it was an improvement over Jorge Martin and that there was still a chance to close the gap with the Marquez brothers.
