Makkah Buses issues guide to school routes ahead of new academic year

Makkah Buses has issued a comprehensive guide to help students and parents navigate the new school year. Under the heading "How to reach your school," the guide outlines bus routes and stations near educational institutions across Makkah's diverse neighborhoods. The goal is to assist users in understanding the transportation options available as students return to their schools.

The Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites shared the guide on their X platform account, explaining how the bus network can be utilized to get to schools. Users can search for their school's name, find the corresponding route and color, and locate the nearest station. The guide also provides an estimated walking distance from the station to the school.

Covering schools in Batha Quraysh, Aziziyah, Al-Akayshiyah, Jarwal, Kuday, Ajyad, Al-Awali, Al-Rusaifah, Umm Al-Joud, Al-Shara'i, Jaranah, the University District, and Al-Shuhada, the guide includes station numbers and distances between each station and the listed schools. Makkah Buses is further supporting students by offering a 50% discount on tickets and packages, facilitating their daily commutes.

This guide is part of Makkah Buses' efforts, led by the General Transport Center, to ensure a smooth start to the new academic year for students and their families.
