Lorry driver seriously injured after boulders fall at quarry in Keralam’s Thiruvananthapuram

A lorry driver in Keralam was seriously injured on Saturday morning when boulders and loose earth collapsed onto his vehicle at a quarry in the Maramuttam area of Thiruvananthapuram district. The incident took place around 7 am as several lorries were parked to transport materials. Huge rocks and soil had loosened from the upper levels of the quarry's rockface and suddenly fell onto one of the lorries below.

The driver, identified as Anilkumar, suffered grave injuries and was rushed to the Government Medical College Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. Fortunately, no other individuals were injured in the accident.
