As the Lindsay Clancy trial continues, her attorney Kevin Reddington has provided an update on his client's mental state amid jury deliberation. Clancy is accused of strangling her three children, Cora, Dawson, and Callan, on January 24, 2023. Her lawyers argue that she was suffering from postpartum depression and was heavily medicated at the time.

The judge has also suggested considering a manslaughter charge, although the prosecution seeks a murder charge. During an interview with reporter Lauren Conlin, Reddington described Clancy as feeling "beaten down" while awaiting the verdict. He compared her to someone who would feel "nervous, scared, beat down" if placed in a locked room with the possibility of three consecutive life sentences.
