Saudi traffic authorities have introduced a new feature on the Absher platform, enabling vehicle owners to transfer ownership of their vehicles to a registered business entity electronically. This service, launched by the General Directorate of Traffic, eliminates the necessity for individuals to physically visit traffic offices for such transactions.

The process is straightforward and user-friendly. To initiate the transfer, users must first log into their Absher account. Once logged in, they should navigate to the "Vehicles" section, then select "Manage Vehicles." From this menu, they can choose the specific vehicle they wish to transfer ownership to their business.

Absher has provided detailed instructions for both sellers and buyers to complete this process. For sellers, the journey begins with selecting "Complete Sale" after the buyer has transferred the vehicle's price to the designated escrow account. Following this, the seller must ensure that the vehicle is insured under the new owner's name.
