Feijóo pide el voto “del cabreo y la esperanza” para el PP “en el año del Gobierno del cambio”

Alberto Núñez Feijóo, the leader of the People's Party (PP), utilized the opening of the political course in Carballeira de Cotobade, Pontevedra, to deliver an electoral speech addressing upcoming local and general elections. During his address, he criticized the Pedro Sánchez government for its inaction, particularly concerning the crisis in Ceuta, and outlined three immediate commitments.

The first commitment entails a gathering scheduled for September 2nd in the town squares of all municipalities, in line with the FEMP's plans. This gathering aims to emphasize the party's stance that Ceuta is not alone and is as much a part of Spain as the Carballeira de San Xusto, where Feijóo assured he would be present.

The second commitment involves summoning the director of the National Center for Intelligence, Esperanza Casteleiro, to the Senate. As the PP has an absolute majority in the body, Feijóo explained, they can set the sessions they desire to "tell the truth." Lastly, he pledged to represent the PP in the ongoing lawsuit in the Audiencia Nacional, pushing for those responsible for abandoning Ceuta to face justice for their actions.
