Bills inform punter Wishnowsky he will be released, AP source. Hardman among 13 players cut by team

The Buffalo Bills have released veteran punter Mitch Wishnowsky, according to an AP source. The move will be made official on Sunday when teams finalize their 53-player rosters. Wishnowsky lost out in the offseason competition to rookie Tommy Doman, who averaged 48 yards per attempt in preseason punts, while Wishnowsky averaged 42 yards on three attempts.

The release allows the Bills to create about $1.1 million in salary cap space. Meanwhile, the team announced cutting 13 players, including veteran receiver/punt returner Mecole Hardman. Hardman, 34, is one of 13 players let go by the team.
