Bhiwandi Gayatri Parivar Organises Tree Plantation Drive Near Railway Station To Promote Environmental Conservation

Bhiwandi: The Akhil Vishwa Gayatri Parivar branch in Bhiwandi conducted a tree planting event near the railway station to support environmental preservation during the birth centenary of Mata Bhagwati Devi Sharma. The goal of the event was to boost the city's green cover and raise consciousness about the significance of nature conservation.

Several shade-producing and medicinal saplings, like Peepal, Bel, and Gular, were planted in the railway station's outer area. The event saw the involvement of Gayatri Parivar volunteers, railway staff, and railway police officers. Notable attendees included Mayor Narayan Chaudhary, Station Master S. K. Chaubey, Assistant Sub-Inspector H. K. Yadav, and ASI Anoop Singh Chhayal.

Following the planting, participants blessed the saplings by tying raksha sutras around them, vowing to safeguard and nurture them until they developed into full-sized trees. The event drew a sizable crowd of men, women, and young volunteers. Event organizers stressed that merely planting trees wasn't sufficient; continuous care and protection were crucial for ensuring a clean and balanced environment.
