3 Delhi BJP MPs attend Sajjan Kumar condolence meeting, pulled up by Nitin Nabin

Three BJP MPs from Delhi's South, North West, and West regions attended a condolence meeting for late Congress leader Sajjan Kumar, drawing criticism from the party's national president, Nitin Nabin. Sajjan Kumar had been convicted for his role in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. All three MPs represent constituencies with significant Jat community populations.

Nabin summoned the MPs to the party headquarters, expressing disapproval of their visit, which he deemed improper and against the BJP's stance against the genocide. Two of the MPs admitted they hadn't planned to attend initially but joined after a suggestion by their colleague. Senior BJP leader HS Phoolka called for a boycott of the three MPs, emphasizing that sympathy should be reserved for the victims and their families, and not for a convicted mass murderer.
