Weak Link Among Mentors, Investors, Entrepreneurs Slowing Africa’s Wealth Creation, Says Mintage Founders

Mintage Africa, a new Pan-African platform, has launched an ecosystem aimed at fostering a new generation of wealth owners across the continent. The platform, co-founded by Dipo Fishor, Anna Olukoya, and Mimshaq Obioha, seeks to connect entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and critical information all in one place. Co-founder Dipo Fishor emphasized that Africa's wealth creation issues stem from a lack of access to knowledge, networks, and guidance, rather than a shortage of opportunities.

The organization's mission is to help Africans create, retain, and grow value on the continent by curating experienced Africans who are committed to mentoring and supporting genuine, successful individuals. Fishor stressed the need for a mentality and system shift to recognize the wealth and opportunities available in Africa. The platform will facilitate connections between entrepreneurs, investors, venture capitalists, and valuable information and resources required for businesses, innovations, and ideas to succeed.

Co-founder Anna Olukoya clarified that Mintage Africa focuses on long-term value creation, not speculation, and aims to raise a new generation of middle-class individuals and wealth owners across Africa. The platform is leveraging AI to aggregate opportunities into an "Insight Tab" where users can segment by career, providing access to various programs, training, and resources funded by organizations such as the African Development Bank and the Bank of Industry.

Co-founder Mimshaq Obioha called on both young entrepreneurs and seasoned professionals to join the platform, offering mentorship, guidance, and support to nurture the next generation of African leaders.
