Video of arson at Toronto MP’s home shows suspect dousing vehicles before fires set

Surveillance footage released by Canadian police shows an arson attack at the home of Liberal MP Salma Zahid in Toronto. According to the video, a masked and hooded suspect poured fuel on five vehicles parked in the driveway, setting two of them ablaze before abandoning the lit-up gas can in the driveway. The suspect then left the scene without further incident.

Zahid's car was also targeted, but managed to escape unscathed. Both the destroyed vehicles and the MP's home were confirmed to be damaged in the fire. Prime Minister Mark Carney condemned the act of violence and intimidation, emphasizing the gravity of the incident. Police are urging the public to assist in identifying the suspect.
