URCS teaches children safety rules during war

The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) is instructing children on safety protocols during wartime. Growing up amidst the constant threat of sirens, living in shelters, and facing numerous risks inherent to war is the harsh reality for many Ukrainian youngsters. It is no longer sufficient for schoolchildren to merely gain knowledge; they must also possess the ability to identify dangers and respond appropriately, safeguard themselves, and assist those in their vicinity.

This is precisely the objective that URCS specialists are imparting to children and teenagers through the Sessions in Safety Classes initiative, as reported by the organization on Facebook on Friday. Through interactive sessions, children learn the appropriate conduct during air sirens and other emergency scenarios. They acquire the ability to adhere to protocols when confronted with fire or smoke, behave securely near water bodies, recognize hazards, and make prudent decisions in their daily lives.
