UniMAP julung kali hos pentauliahan Palapes, libat 1,885 pegawai muda

Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) will once again host the national-level Istiadat Perbarisan Pentauliahan Diraja Pegawai Kadet Palapes, a prestigious military training and education event, on September 12. This is the 44th edition of the event, which will see 1,885 cadet officers from across the country participating. The event is scheduled to take place at the New Court and Tuanku Canselor Hall at UniMAP's Alam Pauh Putra campus.

Raja Muda Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, expressed his pleasure at reviewing the preparations for the occasion. The royal visit will focus on final preparations, including training, administrative coordination, and site readiness. The royal party will also include Tuanku Syed Faizuddin's younger brother, Syed Sirajuddin Areeb Putra Al-Haj Jamalullail, and the royal prince's two younger sisters, Sharifah Farah Adriana Jamalullail.

The royal visit was greeted by the Commander-in-Chief of Land Warfare and Tactics Training, Rashidin Hashimi Ab Rashid, the Training Management Coordinator Mohd Fazly Mat Said, and UniMAP's Vice-Chancellor Zaliman Sauli. Registration for the event and the Final Phase Camp began on August 24. Cadet officers from all three Malaysian Armed Forces branches – Malaysian Army, Royal Malaysian Navy, and Royal Malaysian Air Force – will take part in the event.

The ceremony will involve cadets from all three branches and aims to prepare them for their roles in the military, fostering discipline, resilience, and leadership skills.
