Three dead, 11 injured during Eid Miladun Nabi processions across Punjab

Three individuals lost their lives and 11 others were injured during Eid Miladun Nabi processions in Punjab province. In Faisalabad, two participants fell from a tractor trolley and sustained critical injuries, while Azeem, 22, was also injured and later transferred to Faisalabad DHQ hospital. Meanwhile, in Shorkot, Jhang, a 19-year-old student named Hafiz Malik Imran and seven others were fatally injured when a mini truck overturned after the driver lost control while attempting to avoid a donkey cart near Teen Puli on Multan Road. The injured were transported to Shorkot THQ hospital and later referred to Multan Nishtar Hospital.

In another incident in Jhang, 11-year-old Muhammad Mustafa suffered severe injuries when a truck ran over him near Chund Bhawana on Sargodha Road. His leg had to be amputated, and he was transferred to Jhang DHQ hospital. Additionally, a scuffle between two groups during a Milad function in Chak 643 GB, Sattar Nagar, Jaranwala tehsil, resulted in Muhammad Aslam, 50, and Ali Sher, 17, sustaining life-threatening injuries. They were taken to Jaranwala THQ hospital, where their condition was described as very critical.

In Jhang Garh Maharaja, police arrested 150 men and women, including 42 nominated individuals, on charges of allegedly stopping a Milad procession, assaulting on-duty police officials and participants, and stealing property from the police. Some of the accused were arrested, according to police.
