Stampeders turn to Love with starting QB Adams out

The Calgary Stampeders will be without their starting quarterback, Vernon Adams Jr., for the upcoming game against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Instead, Josh Love will make his first CFL start in a match where the Stampeders are currently on a two-game losing streak. Love has recently returned to the team after playing for various USFL and UHL teams, and the coaching staff is confident in his abilities.

Receiver Damien Alford, who re-signed with the Stampeders recently, believes Love can make an immediate impact as a starter. Kicker Rene Paredes will also return to the lineup after recovering from a groin injury. The Ticats, their opponents, will rely on quarterback Tre Ford, who has been performing well despite their current losing streak. Both teams recognize the importance of this matchup in their quest for a playoff spot.
