Stampeders turn to Love against Ticats with starting QB Adams out with head injury
Calgary Stampeders will be without starting quarterback Vernon Adam Jr. for the rest of the season due to a head injury sustained during their loss to the B.C. Lions. In his absence, Josh Love will make his first CFL start against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Saturday at McMahon Stadium. Love, who has limited experience as a starter, is optimistic about his chances to help the Stampeders end their two-game losing streak.
