Golf Channel social media team described the incident with Jacob Bridgeman's tee shot at East Lake Golf Club during the Tour Championship. The golfer, who had five birdies before a bogey on the 17th hole, hit a wild shot that landed in a pizza vendor's stand. The sharp commentary came from the Golf Channel's camera operator, who smartly captured the exact location of Bridgeman's errant ball.

Once the ball's resting place was established, Bridgeman had to navigate a greenside bunker on the 18th hole and missed his par putt. Consecutive bogeys at the end of the round proved disappointing for the player. Bridgeman finished the tournament at 5 under par and placed 16th heading into the weekend.

After the round, Bridgeman discussed his performance on PGA Tour Live with comedian Katt Williams. He admitted that while he played well for 16 holes, the final two bogeys were troubling. Bridgeman pointed out the wind and suggested he might have shot 7 or 8 if he hadn't faced those challenges.
