KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Uqasha Senrose has no issues working with Singaporean singer-actor Aliff Aziz, despite his controversial past. They are currently co-starring in the series Madu Atau Racun on iQiyi, with Uqasha calling their collaboration honest work. The 12-episode drama revolves around a polygamous marriage involving Adli, Uqasha, and Nikita.

Uqasha stated that Aliff came to set and did his job, and that she didn't feel afraid or uncomfortable working with him. She believes in supporting someone's livelihood, regardless of personal beliefs. Uqasha emphasized that they are colleagues doing their jobs professionally and that there were no issues during filming. Aliff faced a khalwat scandal in March 2024, leading to his divorce from his wife and the birth of their two children.

Uqasha herself filed for divorce from her husband Kamal Adli in October 2023, and they were divorced in January 2024. While playing Azura, Uqasha admitted that it was challenging as the character goes through many scenes of crying and physical abuse. However, she appreciated the realistic portrayal of a polygamous marriage where no one is entirely good or bad.

Uqasha prioritized her work and her daughter after becoming a mother, realizing the bigger responsibility she now has.
