Senai rep lodges police report over claims linking Teo, DAP to secret society

Senai assemblyman Wong Bor Yang has reported the police over a Facebook post that allegedly links DAP vice-chairman Teo Nie Ching and the party to a secret society. The post claims Teo and DAP were involved in underground activities, and accused her of having ties with a group allegedly linked to the recent death of a 17-year-old girl in Kulai. Teo, who is also the deputy communications minister, is the subject of these accusations.

The Facebook post further alleges that influential parties pressured the police and media to report the teenager's death as a road accident. Wong, along with Teo's special officer, filed a police report at the Kulai police headquarters yesterday to initiate an investigation and ensure appropriate action is taken under the law.

Wong dismissed the claims as "wild and fabricated." The Johor police chief, Ab Rahaman Arsad, previously stated that police had arrested 13 individuals, including a 15-year-old female student, as part of the investigation into the teenager's death. The case was initially reported as a road accident but was later reclassified as murder following the arrests.
