Police report lodged over post linking Teo, DAP to secret society

Senai assemblyman Wong Bor Yang has reported the police over a Facebook post that allegedly connects DAP vice-chairman Teo Nie Ching and the party to a secret society. The post also claims that Teo had connections with a group implicated in the recent death of a 17-year-old girl in Kulai. Wong asserts that Teo's special officer and he lodged a police report at Kulai police headquarters, demanding the authorities investigate and take necessary action under the law. He dismissed the allegations as "wild and fabricated".

The teenager's death was initially reported as a road accident, but police later reclassified it as murder after arresting 13 people, including a 15-year-old female student, during an investigation into the incident at Lingkaran Bulatan Persiaran Indahpura 4 on Tuesday. Initially, police treated the case as a road accident but later changed the classification to murder based on the arrests.

Johor police chief Ab Rahaman Arsad confirmed these developments. Wong emphasized that tragedy should not be exploited to spread such allegations.
