Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, a standout in college football, is preparing for another stellar season. The Buckeyes' offense will be under the guidance of Arthur Smith, the former head coach of the Atlanta Falcons, for the 2026 season, following stints under Chip Kelly and Brian Hartline. Smith has consistently led the Big Ten in receiving yards during his two collegiate seasons, setting records in both 2023 and 2024.

Despite changes in play-calling, Smith remains focused on one goal: receiving the ball. He explained, "Get me the ball. That's the only thing that's different for real, for real." Smith anticipates seeing a significant transformation in Ohio State's offense under Smith, citing his ability to find opportunities for his receivers in intricate play designs.

Smith's performance in his freshman and sophomore years, where he led the Big Ten with 1,315 yards and 15 touchdowns in his freshman season, and 87 receptions and 1,243 yards in his sophomore season, sets the stage for another impressive campaign. If Smith secures even more opportunities to catch passes, he could surpass 100 receptions and achieve over 1,200 yards, potentially bringing Ohio State closer to another national championship.
