Marquinhos grabs late equaliser as PSG draw 2-2 with Lille

Paris Saint-Germain's Marquinhos scored a dramatic last-minute equalizer, securing a 2-2 draw for the French champions against Lille in Ligue 1 on Friday. Lille had taken an early 2-0 lead with goals from Hakon Haraldsson and Dilane Bakwa, leaving PSG trailing at the 90-minute mark. However, Vitinha's goal in the first minute gave PSG renewed hope.

Marquinhos then headed in the equalizer with the final act of the match, preventing Lille's new coach Davide Ancelotti from his first win. PSG has struggled to find form at the start of their Ligue 1 season, having previously lost 2-0 to Rennes. The match also saw the absence of several notable players, including new signing Bradley Barcola, who is set to join Liverpool soon.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was also benched for Lille. Despite the setback, PSG will use this result as motivation as they prepare to defend their Champions League title, with upcoming matches against Barcelona and Manchester City in the league phase of the Champions League.
