Kyle Shanahan provides updates on 2 injured 49ers after preseason win

However, the team had to deal with two injuries during the game. Rookie cornerback Ephesians Prysock left the field with a shoulder injury, specifically an AC sprain. Shanahan revealed that Prysock's availability is uncertain, and the 49ers might consider placing him on injured reserve if he misses any time.

With the impending departure for Australia in less than a week, Prysock could be left off the original 53-man roster for the season opener. Tight end Brayden Willis was also ruled out after being evaluated for a concussion. As a regular practice squad player, Willis had already been a fringe member of the team. His absence could eliminate him from the initial 53-player roster for the opening game, particularly given the team's upcoming Australia tour.
