Kulai crash death reclassified as murder; 13 suspects arrested including minors

Johor Bahru police have arrested 13 individuals, including a 15-year-old girl, as part of an investigation into the murder of a 17-year-old girl in Kulai. The case has been reclassified from a road accident. The victim, a front-seat passenger, was thrown from her car, which was hit by a black Toyota Vellfire, causing her to be run over before the vehicle fled.

Seven men and the minor were arrested first, with five more suspects apprehended later. Nine of the suspects had prior criminal records, and drug tests came back negative. Police seized several vehicles and weapons, and the investigation is linked to a dispute between two secret society groups in Johor Bahru.
