Kenya embeds INTERPOL skills in police training to tackle cross-border crime

The supplier of the new Kenya Police Service uniform remains a closely guarded secret as preparations for its unveiling on Friday, August 28, 2026, are underway. The President, William Ruto, is set to announce the new uniforms during the pass-out parade of recruits at the National Police College Main Campus in Kiganjo, Nyeri County. However, the names of the suppliers and the cost of the uniforms have not been disclosed.

The new uniform is a carefully considered choice endorsed by the relevant government committee, but the procurement process remains shrouded in secrecy.
