JAMB lists three reasons candidates’ names may be missing from matriculation list

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has outlined three reasons why candidates' names may not appear on the matriculation list. According to JAMB, the most common reason is the failure to accept admission on the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). The board emphasized that if a candidate's admission status on CAPS reads "not admitted," they should return to their institution to process their admission.

JAMB also highlighted that some students may not be listed because their institutions have not yet forwarded their verified matriculation details to the board. In such cases, candidates are advised to contact their institutions to have their admissions processed on CAPS. Another reason for missing names is the failure to print the JAMB original result slip and admission letter.

JAMB urged candidates to visit the nearest JAMB office or an approved Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre to get these documents printed. The board emphasized that candidates should regularly check its social media platforms for further updates and guidance.
