Islam Makhachev: Movsar Evloev beats Alexander Volkanovski with youth

Islam Makhachev believes that UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski is no longer at the peak of his career. Makhachev has defeated Volkanovski twice in title fights. After a knockout loss to Makhachev in their rematch, Volkanovski relinquished his featherweight title to Ilia Topuria, who then lost it to Volkanovski. Volkanovski followed that up by defeating Diego Lopes twice and is set to defend his belt against Movsar Evloev in the upcoming UFC 333 event on October 24 in Abu Dhabi.

Makhachev acknowledges that Volkanovski is a formidable opponent, but believes that the young Evloev will be able to handle him. Volkanovski, who will be 38 during the fight, has no plans to retire unless things go terribly wrong against Evloev.
