Heavy Rain in Hokkaido Causes Landslide on Train Tracks, with Services Suspended

A train on the JR Muroran Line, which was not carrying passengers, derailed after landslides resulting from heavy rain caused soil and debris to flow onto the tracks in Date, Hokkaido, on Thursday evening, Hokkaido Railway Co. said. The train was on its way for maintenance.
